super c pistons

I am rebuilding my 51 super c originally with flat head pistons. Has anyone tried putting in these fire crater pistons I've seen in the rebuild kits? I would prefer the voice of experience over that of a salesman before I spend the money. I also wouldn't mind the little extra horse power the overbore kit they come in would give.
