I just bought this '48 Farmall H about three weeks ago, and took it to the tractor pulls at our county fair this weekend. I spent two weeks fixing things and getting rid of 53 yrs of grease and oil. The radiator was completely plugged with rust and looked like a lawn sprinkler when I put water in it. There was alot more little fixing done. Anyway at the pulls it pulled VERY well, It didn't win the class but at least it put up a good show. I need to replace the tires VERY badly! I ran it on the pto dyno and it put out 30 Hp. Is that good or bad for a H ? I also need to add some weight, as I have no wheel wieghts and the tires are not loaded. I have someone who has 2 sets of rear weights and he wants me to make him an offer for them. I have no Idea how much to offer. How much do they go for ?
