Had a clutch problem on a Farmall A so I spit it in half to see what happening. I had a spare flywheel, clutch plate, and pressure plate. When I took the old clutch out and looked at it she was worn down to the rivits. So I installed the other one that I had.(had more clutch material on plate) I used the old pressure plate that was on the tractor that did not show any signs of wear, fingers looked good. Now that I put the tractor back together and adjusted the clutch I can not shift the transmission. With the clucth pedal fully depressed the gears still grind. Should have I used the flywheel and pressure plate that was with the newer clutch or did I do or not do something when assembling halfes back together (went back together fairly easy). Thanks for your ideas. This forum is a big help.
