Farmall H Block

Getting ready to have the Block hot tanked to remove the old oil rust and grime off the old girl. There are side covers on the block with a ton of bolts on each side. Should we remove them and take the covers off? Does the gaskets come in the gasket kits? and what are these covers for? Thanks Chad Penny
