Upon removing the powersteering cylinders for a much needed rebuild, I found the hydralic oil was white, probably from moisture. I have only owned the tractor for a year and it has never received any TLC, from the looks of things. So, I purchased 10 gallons of HyTrans from a local dealer, with the nescessary filters, but when I drained the tractor, only the oil in the rock case was white, being a towny all my life with a little exposure to farm equipment on my uncle's farm,. I thought that all the oil was used in the hydralics. Actually, the Trans and rearend oil looks like regular 90wt. I also found out I need 5 more gallons on the refill. But if only the rock case needs Hydralic oil, do I need to use the Hytran in everything or not? Thanks to anyone who has more knowledge than I. Big City Bob
