I just thought I'd share what I did to get my headlights bulbs working again. My original equipment 6V seal beam lamps were burned out. They have a nipple on the back with a hot wire screw terminal and a seperate ground wire. These connections protrude through a hole in the back of the housing. Looking around at mailorder, these type bulbs are claimed to be available, but expensive, 30 - 40 some dollars each. My IH/Case dealer had some modern GE bulbs for $9.50 each. They have two screw terminals almost flat against the back of the bulb. They fit in the housing (barely) with the wires going through the housing hole. The original hot wire screws to one terminal and a short ground wire I made screws to the other. I'll save my original bulbs for reference when/if I ever want to correctly restore. I thought others might like to just get their lights working without all the $$. David
