Fnished disking, plowing, disking again, and draging the field I'm going to plant to oats/alfalfa. Lost several parts in the process - latest was a drag tooth. Got a spare, so no problem. However, the real nasty is that I knocked the air intake off the tractor, and plowed it under. Off my wife's MF 180 - looks like a mushroom, bowl on a short of pipe. Hole in air cleaner is approximately 2 1/8 inches in dia. I'm sure that a lot of tractors used similar units. Anyone have one laying around on the shelf? Or an idea where I can order one inline? DON'T ASK WHAT OTHER PARTS I PLANTED!

Is the bowl plastic? JD 3020, 4020, Gleaner F2 diesel combines used them- those interchange. Bowl was about ten bucks a fewe years ago at the dealer"s. Bring along the base to size the replacement.

Along with fertilizer, don't forget to irrigate or you'll stunt their growth.

When it sprouts and matures, you will have many of them.
