Fella had to drive 120 miles in the snow to get here, but we got 'er done.

Hardest part was that he wouldn't let me take it out of the garage for an hour because of the snow. Guess the glue had to set up and/or dry?

Bought 3 dozen donuts for the shop and then paid fer that glass; otherwise a pretty darned good day all things considered. :>)

around here we can get that glass installed on site for around $300 how bad did he treat you on that one? Is that one of the new 6.4 diesel trucks? I can't tell from the pics as to what the plate says.

Allen, why did you have to pay for that glass? I have cracked many windshields in my time and have not had to pay for one yet. My comprehensive collision always pays every penny and my insurance does not even go up. Windshields are one thing that insurance will cover, with few questions asked.

The glass/labor, ect. cost me $268.78. Yeah, the truck is a 6.4, about a year or so old.

what's the going rate on a donut? I'm thinking of buying a festiva, and if I do then putting donuts on it would be oversized tires. Better mileage ya know!

Naw a "stroked" Cummins did it.

Had this smartass goat roper at a small town flea market one weekend. Had the Ford thing with every imaginable hootus on it. On the tailgate was painted on "Had your Cummins stroked lately".

Funny, around my neck of the woods Dodge is pushing out the competition, even when you look at old timer Ford and Chevy lovers. Course a lot of the Chevy lovers are just that because the nearest town only has a Chevy dealership.

Course I won"t lie to you. They are giving them away and for the quality of the product and what the others want for their stuff, have to be crazy not to connect..... and the Dodge dealer is only half again as far away as the Chevy dealer.

Mark

I will tackle about anything around the place, but when it comes to glass I leave it to the experts, Hope the guy didn't charge for fuel to get to you. 120 miles is a major trip around here for me. Stan

Just a windshield?I am just now reading it.How you likeing the new Ford?Is it a Powerstroke and if it is are you getting better than 14 mph?We have 2 08 F250's with the 5.4's and they are not powerful at all.It takes lots of rmp's to get anything out of them.

Yeah,

Guess I caught a rock 'cause there was a "ding" under one of the wipers, I didn't catch it and it grew clear across the glass.

Truck is fine. They gave me a 5.4 to drive while they were working on mine. Hmmmmm m, rather not go any further with this line of questioning yer honor. :>)

Well we just had two windshields changed just yesterday and the guy came to us and rocks were the culprit on both. And we also have a white F250 that looks like yours.Sorry I may have sounded interrogating.

Naw,

I was just foolin' with ya. :>)

Just didn't think much of the loaner truck. Reminded me of those old 300 6-cylinder pickups.

Biggest thing tho was that ride. Yeah, I'm spoiled now. :>)
