I would like to get a small tractor for garden use. I have several farm tractors but they're just too big.
I was looking at the Kubota BX24 with a front loader and backhoe and it has some possibilities. I'm told one can get a lawn mower for it too - but I don't know that for sure. I have looked at the garden tractors that are sold at Lowe's or Home Depot but they seem to be pretty light for any longevity.

Any of you have any experience with the Kubota or any similar size tractors from John Deere, New Holland, etc.?

Thanks...

The BX is a good heavy lawn tractor that you can get a mower for. Just be sure to compare apples to apples. In other words don't compare Home Depot's John Deere to that BX because they have don't have much in common

Deere 2305. Cheap to bring home with M4WD, loader, mower & backhoe. Has a real drawbar, pto, 3 point hitch & hydraulics.

The problem with buying from Lowes are Home Depot is .. if you have problems with your equiptment. They don't repair them there. You end up contacting the company where they were made to get anything done for you. Home would not take back a grinder I had bought and it last me 30 minutes of use. Told me to send it to company that makes them. .. :(

We had a new holland TZ25, same thing as that kuboda but with a different engine and sheet metal. It was great, nimble, easy to use, comfortable, powerful, great traction. Go for it
