Another post was talking about starving animals. I picked this dog up a year ago last Sept. Didn't think she would survive. Now, she's a happy, healthy and one of the sweetest animals I've every had.

Here is my saved buddy. Got her from the pound when she was a puppy. Talk about a great dog.

Had something similar to that happen here. When we were building our chicken houses 3-4 years ago, had a dog that came up one night. Next morning, our dirtwork contractor called and said he had a dog on his bulldozer that wouldn't let him on. By the time we got up there she had become somewhat more friendly (gave up the bulldozer), and when the contractors left she stayed. We believe she had been abused by children somewhere in the past, because she will get visious with children if she isn't watched, although that has improved with time. Now she is just as loving as can be, treated well, fed a little too well, and is a great pet. BTW, her name is Bulldozer now.

Hi Nancy,
'bout in the middle of winter, I was out feeding and heard something in the barn... someone had abused and dumped a kitten... I was going to take her to the humane society to keep her from freezin but my missus over-rode my vote... you can guess the rest... anyways, when we took this little girl to the vet, found out she had been spayed and chipped... was over a year old (small because of being starved) and had been adopted from the local animal shelter. Kinda makes ya wonder about the kind of folks that would do that to animals
