Couldn't we just set then 1/2 back and call it good for the year 'round? Ben Franklins only bad idea.

My computer clock has refused to change. It's been an hour slow all spring & summer & fall. I've manually changed it three or four times, but it goes back to standard time. Wonder if will correct itself someday?

I like Arizona"s perspective. Here in west Michigan, we by all rights should be in central zone to begin with. But NO! we"re in eastern, so that the Detroiters are on same time as New York... then they jump ahead another hour all summer. I gotta go out and shake the rooster awake now, then they extend the thing another 4 weeks. Sheesh!

I've always thought the same thing Ray. We're too far west for the eastern time zone.

I didn't change anything in the spring and the sun still came up in the morning and went down in the evening. I decided not to partake of the "plan" this year. Since there doesn't seem to be any way of withdrawning what you save it's just another tax for the bottemless bucket. Does anyone see a connection between daylight savings and global warming? Like maybe the containers are leaking!
Everybody have a good day. :-)

That is your gooferment at work; costing many companies money so they could change around automated equiptment (computers for one)for the new time change.

Under the old law daylight savings time ran from first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in Oct. But under the 2007 law we added 4 weeks. 3 weeks in spring and 1 week in fall. That is why some of your calanders have the wrong date on them.

The VCR's changed already but the phone didn't. Computor time is 28 minuts slow. Was thinking it was today also but guess they changed the dates and probably the calanders that said it was today were already printed when the law was changed.
