Look at the crankshaft gear and the magneto gear for timing marks.

If the crank gear has two dots, the one dot goes between them. If the crank gear has one dot, then it goes between the two dots on the cam gear.

Same story for the magneto/distributor drive. Line one dot in between two.

On my 240, it has the C-123 engine in it. I timed them together. I put the one mark between the 2 other marks. Not sure what motor you have but that's how my manual said to do it.

Thanks Darin
