Took some photos, the first one is the one built in 1898, and the other one is on my farm that was built by my grandfather in 1917. You can see more photos of these barns at the link below.

There's a reason those roofs are shaped like a hay stack. Hay above animals below, use gravity to your advantage. Sadly those old beautiful barns don't make money any more in todays mechanized agriculture and it costs a lot to keep 'em from falling down. They are slowly but surely disappearing from the landscape of America.

These are a true testament to craftsmanship that is not seen today in the construction trades.The illegal immigrants should take notice.These are works of art.
