Which one of the 101 different softwares is the most simple and easy to send pictures, and to use? I have heard of using a card that can hold many pictures and then transfering them to a computer, but then what? Please help, my husband cant figure anything out if its computer related.

If you have a Mac running OS 10.x.x the camera contents will appear on the desktop when it's plugged into USB port. "OPTION' key and drag will copy to desktop. Drag camera icon to 'TRASH' to unmount.

If you need the software for the camera - go to the manufacturers web site - most of them have downloads for specific cameras.

Good Luck - Ken

There should be a CD that came with your camera load it into the disc slot and then upload your software and drivers for your camera follow the directions on the screen. its really simple now with everything right on the screen telling you what to do next.
Walt

PS If you don't have the cd then your up a creek without a paddle as you need the drivers on it.
Ask one of your kids to help.

Kodak software really screwed up my computer, so we deleted. Turns out you don't need any software at all. Just plug the camera or memory card into the computer, go to "My Computer," and it will show up under "Removable Storage Devices" which is all a camera really is. Copy your pictures from there. You won't get the fancy album options or editing programs, but there's no sense in using up computer memory with camera software if you don't need it. Might not be the same for all camera makes, but I would try it before you copy the software in.

Can it also be done by using the camera storage disc through the slots in the new printers?

I have an HP camera, and I don't particularly like their software. Try plugging the camera-or card reader-in. My pictures-built in to the windows software-should come up on the screen and ask simple questions about downloading. Once that is downloaded, you click on my pictures and you should see them on your screen. Greg

The software should have been packaged with your camera.

Exactly. I use the software that came with my kodak digital. I also have an older Polaroid digital which is not compatible with the newer computers, but using a memory card in the Polaroid, and then putting that card into a card reader, I can then plug the card reader into my computer and transfer the images using the Kodak software.
