Hi, I just purchased a IH 1466 tractor at an auction with a cab and i plan on taking it off and put fenders on. Does any one know what operator platforms will fit a 1466. I assume all the 66 series floors will fit on the 1466. Will any other ones fit such as say one from an 806. Thanks for your help in advance.

766 and up open station will fit and the open station platform is totally different than the cab platform.

Additionally, battery trays, PTO lever, battery heat shields and wiring are all different.

Don't care what anyone says; been all thru this. :>)

Agreed, the cab platform is differant (smaller if I recall) then the open station platform. You might "make it work" but you won't like it.

Been through it too helping my brother swap them out.

the platform does not come off with the cab all you will need is fenders, that if it is a 66 not 86

The platforms on the 56 and 66 tractors were pretty much the same (756-1566). The 06 platforms were a little different. You can probably just use the one that is on it after you take the cab off. You can go to the CaseIH web site and do some research in the parts section. 56 tractors that had factory cabs used a different platform than the ones with fenders. However the cab platform will work with fenders.
