Dang if that is true I gane away my 1955. It had a nice original cab and about $3,000 worth of new parts and real good body and I only got $5600.

It would probably be worth that in parts wouldn't it.

I didn't see it but-

Front end 500 tin work 500 fenders 400
Rear end 1200+
head 200

And so on. Just wondering.

That's true, but it'd take a long time to see any profit if parting that thing out, espescially with time involved in tearing it apart.

Makes me wonder what I could get for our 1755 out back though, it doesn't even have a hole in the block yet!!

The parts business is crazy. All these guys price their parts 1/2 price of new. I understand that for somethings that have demand. But, on things that most people dont ever replace it really screws you because the dealer wants a bundle because they dont have enough volume to get the price down, and then when you price used they want half of new.
