Well, I remember having these when I was quite younger and they always seemed to be quite filling, ussually a breast and a thigh or wing, and a few healthy sides that kinda filled the empty spots of the ol belly. Well, aint really had many for years, grocerie store had em on sale 10 for $10. Well, I stocked up. Opened one up just now for dinner( been a bad day, no tractors will start, trannie went out in the 1/2 ton, got the shats) well there sat a little chicken thigh, some frost bit corn, a dab of watery taters. Dang it, I gotta throw 3 of in the oven if I want to have a half way decent meal. What a disappointment.

The crows better watch out. They love road kills in cold weather. See if they will jump your TV snacks? Healthy choice are good.

Dave, you have to get the Swanson Hungry Man tv dinners. They are usually on sale for about $2 bucks or maybe $3 but they are a very good value for the money. Try them.

The TV dinners now are *rap. I eat the Dinty moore beef stews, 90 seconds in the microwave and its better then tv dinners. I usually eat some Peanut butter crackers too to get filled up and some fruit and its a fast meal after work.

Well, when it gets to the point that a breast and a thigh is not fulfilling..... ..... ....don't know how anyone on the board can help.

The worst part is these things sell for 89 cents every day.The 10 for deals are always a ripoff. You would be better off baking a couple of home grown potatoes dressed with some real butter or ranch dressing. It costs more to keep this frozen stuff at zero degrees than they are worth.

I hear ya! But if you're willing to give Banquet a second chance, you should try the Crock Pot Classics. Throw them in in the morning, by suppertime they're ready. They have different varieties, and if MY kids will eat them, then they must be OK.

Well there like every thing else in the world. Price goes up and or the quality goes down or both. Things just aren't made the way they where 50 years ago when people put pride in what they did, now days the only pride you see is the price but little or no quality
