Well I would be wearing a khaki and forest green Deere cap but my sister"s dog ate it on Christmas morning and when I got back home that evening it had somehow got a hold of my other one and ate it too. She"s now saying a poor college kid can"t afford to replace my 2 $10 hats so for now i wear my camo hat.

Collecting caps has always been a minor hobby for me, couldn't guess how many are in those several boxes, but my favorite is the one I earned in the 60s....and yes, some will say its gone to my head...but as a paratrooper and Green Beret, it's my everyday town hat, the one that says ARMY AIRBORNE- anyone have a problem with that? LOL. I knew you guys had a sense of humor!!!!I figure that when fewer than 20% of our citizens are Veterans, we need to stand up--thank God, on this board, the & is much higher. And Thank You to all who served!

Carhart ball cap with the isulated liner that can be folded down to cover your ears. My back-up for when the Carhart is in the washer is an oiled canvas Filson made the same way. Can you wash oiled canvas? Summer is the freebe hats you toss when your get the next one free. Ain't no reason to whare an old dirty ball cap with so many shiny free ones out there. Can't go wrong with the ocasional use of a cowboy hat either. I always wind up smashing the cowboy hats up.

I am not a collector, I just keep aroud 8. I wear a differant one each day, depends on which one I find first. I guess my favorite would be my Indian Motorcycle hat. I've had several go through my mower through the years, sure ruins a good hat. Stan

I don't wear hats often, but do have probably 20 or so of them, most are camo of some sort. The one I do wear in to town says I'm retired this is as dressed up as I get. I don't wear a hat when in my shop because its just another thing to get into the works and maybe end up getting me hurt or falling into something and haveing fling hat parts going all over the place
