I have a Ford 4400 industrial tractor and I replaced the original valve with a 2 spool valve and it works great and now I wish that I went to a 3 spool valve so instead of changing valves again, can I install a 1 spool valve to use with another cylinder on the loader,by coming out of the power beyond valve then to another valve and then back to sump? Or how could I do this? Thanks

What valve (manufacture and model or casting number) did you purchase? Does it have the power beyond options/ If it is a Gresen let me know as I still have some Gresen literature left. J.

If your valve can be equipped with a power beyond adaptor it will work. Any good hyd. shop could help you on how to plumb it. Dave

The power beyond plug separates the power oil pass through from the cylinder return oil. So on the first valve you need a hose to return the cylinder return oil to the reserveroir and a hose from the power beyond to the second valve. The second valve also has a return line and you can combine them anywhere between the valves and the resrvoir. The pressure is not high there either which makes the plumbing safe with ordinary plumbing fittings which aren't safe for the pressure side.
