What are some good tractor salvage yards in Oklahoma?Has anyone ever been to Sturgeons Corner at Helena,OK?Does it have older tractors and combines?

I'll be going that way soon and would like to visit a few yards if possible.Thanks.

I guess everyone's mileage will vary, but I thought both of them at Sturgeon's corner were true, royal, first class jerks...

I've been there a few times and every time I thought I must have just caught them on a really bad day.

I was just looking for some parts on some of my old tractors - they didn't even want to talk about them or help me.

The last time they said they were scrapping out the whole salvage lot and just going to new replacement parts, anyway.

It was hard to understand the old guy anyway - over the clacking of his dentures as he rattled them around in his mouth.

Just my 2 cents...

I visited Sturgeon's about 14 years ago. AS I recall, there were very few combines but quite a few older tractors. Unfortunately, they didn't have the part I was looking for but that's life.

Thanks for the replies so far.

I'm mainly going to NC and WC Oklahoma in search of older SP combines such as a 123 IH,21-A Massey Harris,428 Cockshutt,Case SP-12,AC-100,and others.Any leads on old SP combines in Oklahoma would be appreciated.

A friend that will be with me likes tractors(I do too) and we love to see old tractor and combine salvage yards.
