Good Morning,

Thought you might enjoy this short video from the Plowing Match at Keene, Ontario.
Lots of antique machinery:

Thanks EWC. That made my day. Does anybody else have something like that that they would like to share?

That was a great video and awesome music. That looked like one heck of a show.Therw was one thing that caught my eye and I have never seen it before. That was that john deere little baler, at least I think thats what it was. What was it used for?

Jeremy, the little baler is a 1/4 scale replica hand made to produce little bales as a novelty. People use the little bales to decorate with at Thanksgiving.

I saw a hand made tiny one (maybe 2 inch square bales) driven by a hand made hit/miss engine at Portland Indiana 2 years ago. My wife still talks about that collection of one lungers.

Interesting E.W.C.

Nice video.

One question I have,I noticed that the guys loading the bundles in threshing machine would sometimes flip the bundle.

Did they want the heads to enter first and did it help the thresher?

Gary

Yes the heads go first to get better grain removal when hitting the cylinder.
