Well at least I'm getting the yard cleaned up for winter. Yesterday a couple of friends were here and we got the drill ready to plant wheat. Today I worked at getting a winch ready to put on my gooseneck trailer. third party image

Grass powered lawn mowers like that are much better smell'n than the the goat and sheep models that are available. Don't like the exhaust fumes from sheep and goats. They also serve as weed eaters in the hard to get to places around the fences and foundations.

The post drill lying on the ground in your second picture looks just like the one mounted on my garage wall. I added a motor and belt to the flywheel. I use it a lot for drilling with the larger bits as the slower drilling speed is great for the larger holes.

Keep Those Cows! in reply to Nebraska Cowman, 09-08-2006 15:45:20
A few months back I remember you saying you can see the end of you having cattle. I hope that end is FAR off. Those cows sure look pretty. I wish I had some wandering around here.

Another thing, GGG, Cowman had major surgery just a short time ago... I am glad to see that he is feeling good enough to joke around... Shoot, if you want to hear some folks that talk dumb.. Come down here & hang around us sometimes, at the gas station... But we have a good time... :^)

GGG, you sir are obviously NOT from around here.
I believe that were a concensus taken, however we simple folk hailing from the rural areas of Nebraska,Alabama,Georgia,Iowa, N and S Carolina, and many othr locals might well agree that it is YOU who talks stupid (stooopid?) whatever.

Don't mess with our cowman, even though he can take care of hisself.

Don't pay him no mind, Nebraska. I like your pictures.

Get a grip, GGG, he's jest fooling around.

Now, pick on me and I'll match you degree for degree, right up the limit.

Don't like it, don't read it.

Looks as though it is green there, finally, some of the earlier pics you posted, it looked kind of brown and barren
