a C6 out of a 79' f-100
a 3 speed out of a 77' F-150
and two axles, both 9 incher's and what would a front grill off a 77' f-150, in mint shape be worth? what about a rad.? any prices you can give me on ANY of this stuff would be great, I plan on selling it on e-bay to buy parts for my project truck.. all of it is in very good shape, with little wear.. THANKS! Tim Shultz

Been my experience the good but common as dirt engines will bring about a buck a cube at a salvage yard. Less common and more sought after engines ie; Chevy big blocks can run 2 to 3 bucks plus a cube depending on condition. What suprised me is I have an 84' Chevy K-10 I want to pull the 454 out of and replace with a 250 or 292 straight 6. These were common as dirt 10 years ago. But I haven't been able to locate one worth rebuilding at least locally. Apparently these were too common for their own good.

Tim, just recently I tried selling some very similar items on eBay. A complete 240 in-line six, a '71 F-100 with a very solid 390, and couldn't even get a bid on the engine. The truck was bid up to $400, which was a long ways from my reserve. eBay is in trouble right now. I would suggest finding another venue for selling. I might also add that eBays fees for selling will be more than what you might get out of those items. You can put a reserve on your items, but that will cost you even more, and if the items don't sell, you still owe the fees.

Try this link Tim. It will tell you what some of the salvage yards are asking for parts.

You could check a auto wreckers and see what they are asking.I doubt you"ll make much selling that stuff on ebay, by the time shipping comes into play it won"t bring you much. they are all available at most any auto wreckers, good luck .
