Avery Rarety and value

I am looking at buying an avery tractor, what kind of value do they hold, are there alot of models. I just know they condition is the mechanic better be mechanically inclided, should i tackle the project?, or are they worth the time and effort if i sell her?

Like Butch said, they can be scarce in places and common in others. I'm in Central California and I have the only model 'A' I, and lots of others, have ever seen here. Cute little tractor. Inquired into clubs and such and looks as if I'd be in scarce company out here in that too. jim

ps....I wouldn't get into a 50+ year old tractor thinking to make a $$ profit. Profit comes in the form of pleasure, NOT $.

They are seldom seen in some parts of the country, but are not rare around here. My brother has about 20 of them. You can get more money invested than you can sell them for if it needs alot of work. Main bearings for the herc engine are hard to come by. Good Luck!
