If it runs, drive it around a bit even with the puller on, works everytime from an A to 4555 JD.

1.) Use some REAL loosen juice like PB Blaster, Kroil, or Thunderbolt. (Save the WD-40 for, well, err, well, I can't think of what you'd save it for!).

2.) When you get tired of trying to pull it off, get a section of heavy-walled pipe that will slip over the axle, and up against the hub, and whomp on it with a large "fitting tool" for a while. If it still won't budge, repeat #1, then try pulling on it again, then try #2 again 'til it lets go.

Take Rim off the wheel, remove clamp bolts. Clean the axle like new, Install puller, and hammer on inside of the wheel, in cojunction with puller,

is this a splined axle ? if you haven't cleaned all the dirt and grease off do so you might be surprised at what you find as crazy as it seems someone welded the hub on my a to the axle i ruined a good log chain until i found that out
