Another hay question

Here's my problem.Bought a load of hay ( 1st. cut timothy mix)from a local farmer I have been dealing with for several years.My horse and goats won't touch it.Its dry and not dusty and smells good.Any suggestions.?

I would take it and start blending it in with the old hay. Start with 1/3 to 2/3 then increase it as you go until you are feeding old and new so that you slowly run out of the old hay. Hasn`t failed us yet and hasn`t caused any colic in the horses where sometimes switching feed can cause troubles. With the goats you may want to start the new out a little slower.
