What's the size differences between a 14.9 and a 15.5 38? Inherited some double center rims and would like to widen the rear tires on the loader tractor. Thanks, Harley

Harley, the 14.9 is a taller profile than the 15.5 tire. The best even bar spread on a 14.9 is with a 12 inch rim. The 15.5 likes a 14 inch rim to lay out flat. I have had better traction with the 14.9 on the pulling tracks plus the Farmall profile seems to be just right with the 13.6, 14.9, or the 16.9 all 38 inch high. If I were to choose the 15.5 for a loader tractor I believe I would try to get a 23 degree bar on them. Migraine

Thanks a lot. Found a pair of each, but didn't know how they compared in size. This helps, Harley
