Just another sales gimmick, typical GM quasi-fraudulent advertising. Like their low, low monthly payments, then the fine print shows a balloon of Xty thousand on the 36th payment, or 48th, or whatever. I can buy any Ford product using Ford's X plan, because my employer is a major fleet purchaser, the X plan pricing is @2% over invoice, the Ford A plan, for employees is like one percent over , I just bought a 2005 SuperDuty and my price, if the invoice is to be believed was about $240 over, and I do not think I could have got a better deal by going to the Metroplex, Houston or wherever, plus my local dealer, (in a town of @3500, will remember me when I come back, whether it be the next morning, or 5 years from now). It never fails to amaze me that these people will drive all over hell to save $100, while spending at least that much on gas and time. What I really, really want to know is, how much does it cost Ford, Chrysler, or GM to produce the vehicle in the first place.
