'Class' is kind of an arbitrary term some of the manufaturers use to decsribe the chassy size of their compact tractors. I see this 'class' discussion on some compact tractor boards, but actually it has little meaning to the rest of the tractor world. You will confuse people, thinking you are talking catagory 1 3pt vs catagory 2 3pt. If both tractors have catagory 1 3pt hitch dimentions, the hitch should work on both. I am making some assumptions here, but typically a 50 hp tractor should still have a cat 1 3pt hitch. :) Should I be the one confused, and the new tractor has a cat 2 hitch, it might be possible to fit the cat 1 quick hitch, but the tractor would be stronger than the hitch; and not everything will fit up quite right - and it would only work with cat 1 sized implements of course, while a tractor with cat 2 hitch works better with cat 2 implements. Could it work sometimes - yes. Will it fit your needs - that is difficult to say. But likely both machines have cat 1 hitches, and it will work fine. --->Paul
