I was wondering, which show is gonna be tha best show for me to goto. Im wanting to goto a show that is really big, lots of steam and MANY different demos. I was thinking about going to tha Midwest Threshers Reunion in Mt Pleasant Ia. Is this a really good show? Is there any bigger ones? I live in Ga and want to go to tha best one possible.
Thanks for any suggestions!!!
Brent,
Ga.

This is on a smaller scale than Midwest Old threshers, but every bit as interesting. I like this one better because it is smaller, and much easier to see it all. They do have a very good collection of not only the steam tractors but also the old gasoline powered prarie tractors such as the Aultman-Taylor.

I've never been to Mt. Pleasant reunion myself, but have some friends that go every year, and they think it's great. Only problem is the attendance is so big all the motels in Mt Pleasant are sold out at least 6 months ahead of time. You may have to stay in one of the surrounding towns.

Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Association will hold it's 57th annual Thresherman's Reunion August 17-20 2005. Located in Kinzers, Lancaster County, PA.

There is a lot of steam and some threshing demonstrations too. A wide variety of machinery on display.

I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but if you follow the link, then click on "Photo Albums" you can view a few hundred pics of past years shows and decide for yourself.
