Can anyone tell me when checking the firing order do you count one from the front of the motor or the back. Can anyone tell me how to determine the year of a 9N Ford Tracker.

No 1 would be front cylinder,1st one behind the radiator.Ford 9N serial no is on the side of the block(stamped)just below the head above the generator. That no will translate to yr of mfg, unless engine block has been changed out.

Number would be stamped on a flat on side of block behind oil filter cannister top and above starter.

That's REALLY gone screw him up!

The correct firing order is 1-2-4-3.

Cylinders are numbered from front to back 1-2-3-4, as is the conventional fasion!
