Took a chance and put the BIG battery charger on it.Cranked her up to 20 amps then on up to 35 amps.Wide open throttle!NOW she is a cookin.20 amps will do it but 35 amps makes her belch every so often.lol.Big chunks of paint! The more solution----the more amperage it takes is what I learned.Got a 20 gallon one with 10 amps going too.Stainless works better than rusty steel as an electrode,I have also found out. Thanks to everyone who pitched in with their thoughts, bob

I read the original posting on this because I also was having problems. Always thought that more power would be the answer but was hesitant to crank it up for fear of creating hydrogen. Think I will try it again, MORE POWER.

Speaking of hydrogen, I had an accomplished engineer fellow decide to charge about 10 batteries simultaneously off the ac power line (with a rectifier diode).

Didn't think about the hydrogen he was producing in the process. Building blew up and would have blinded him cept for his glasses.

Stainless was mentioned in an earlier electrolysis post, the residue makes something real toxic, not something you want to dump anywheres, would suggest searching electrolysis/rust for the details. John in Nebr.
