I went last year after a lot of years of not going. There is a lot of tuff there. MAnufacturers I have never heard of with big $ displays. But if you really want to see a particular piece of equipment, I wouldn't just assume it's there. Many companies at a trade show will bring a mid-sized piece as a representative of the line, with specs on the bigger stuff. Shipping is expensive. The manufacturer, if he smells money, and knows you want to see a particular piece will often mae arangements to take you to a local users that may have one, and show it to you privately. But let me tell you this....if you are really looking at equipment, one day at Empire probably isn't enough.

And if you are coming to upstate NY, realize it isn't NYC. It's beautiful rural country.

Take Care
Steve

One of my buddies has gone to this show for years and he says they have great equipment displays. I believe they have demo's too, as the area is a wheat growing area but not like the Midwest. I'd sure recommend you go, I am thinking about it meself.

What does that mean "Ag" in Ag Farm Show. Because everywhere, i see 'Ag'. Does that mean Agriculture ? Agco ? ...

No you will not see the biggest combine or the biggest tractor. This show is geared for the northeast and altho equipment is big the farms around here are not big enough to require the giants like on the plains. A 300 acre field is about the biggest around here. Farms are around 1200 to 3000 acres. Main crops are corn, beans, wheat, hay, orchards, and vineyards. the ag stands for agriculture. yes you will see demonstration plots.
yes you will see the newest examples that the manufacturers have to offer.
