I was wondering what brand of pressure washers you guys like. Our old one that uses cold water just doesn't do what I need anymore. A friend of mine has a Hotsy that he uses on his livestock trailers and he says he likes the job it does. What brands do the rest of you like?

I hooked mine up to both the hot water line and cold waterline (turn both line's on that go into a Y before pump). Atleast the water is warm. Hot water heater won't keep up if you run straight hot water. For really thick coated dirt, I soak with water prior to pressure washing wich helps considerably. For thick coated grease, I will soak with a degreaser ahead of washing. Of coarse, the industrial one at the car wash always works better than the little one I got here at the house.

I ruined the seals in our high pressure washer by hooking it to the hot water faucet. I've heard of the premium ceramic seals but don't know it they just last longer or can handle hot water?

I haven't had any trouble yet. Maybe, since it is actually warm water instead of hot is why it don't ruin the seals. I don't know. Or maybe I haven't used it enough to damage the seals, but I have really used it alot though.
