I bought a 10ft cutter this week and it has some chain mounted below the lift pins on the 3point. They tried to explain why the chain is there, to take the weight off of the rockshafts and prevent the cutter from droping too low. Does anyone know how those chains fit onto the tractor?

Chains attach to your center/top link. Stabilizes the cutter, keeps it from swaying, and keeps it from cutting to low.

So they fasten to the tractor where the top link is mounted?
