Would someone explain to me what a so called easy restoration means? When I call something restored it takes alot of time and money, and hard work. So am I right in asuming that a paint job is what they are talking about?

I agree with Cowmans answer but I think your question hints at the term "easy restoration" as being missused or over used. I compare it to when you look at a draft horse and you are told its "green broke". Both phrases can have alot of different meanings when used in the wrong hands.
However I try not to be a pessimist

Ok, this is real easy, really.

"Easy Restoration" means: If you are dumb enough and have enough money to buy this hunk of junk, then you can haul it to a shop and afford to let some one else do the work. After all writing a check or handing over a credit card isn't like real work.

Or am I being too sarcastic?

To me "easy restoration" means the tractor is complete and not stuck.

I like the adds on Ebay that show a tractor
setting in knee high weeds behind a barn, the
tires are flat, the head is off,the exhaust is
open, the add says ran when parked (probably 30
years ago),EASY RESTORATION.

"Easy" is a relative thing- and I agree that if you do it right, its going to involve time and $$ unless it's so nice it doesn't need to be restored in the first place. Howsomever, to try to answer your question, if I were to say "easy restoration" in a tractor I was selling, it would mean sheet metal is pretty straight, the engine runs well and doesn't need anything beyond sandblasting and painting, everything works, and virtually all parts are there. However, to others, it may mean if you're under 40 years old, and are willing to spend most nights and weekends on this little darlin', you should have it standing tall by the time you retire.
