I've been out of the farm equipment business for a few years, but recently got dad's old '44 Farmall H. The H was in mid-overhaul when dad died a few years back, and I'd like to see what a set of M&W sleeves and pistons run these days. Dad used to run a farm equipment repair garage, and he used to have an account with M&W...but I don't want to just rattle their chain, in case I decide to do something else. Anybody have any info?

Engine parts part of M&W now handled by a shortline parts supplier, but I'm having an attack of CRS and can't think of their name right now. Maybe I can stimulate somebody else by saying that it's the maker/distributor of the original "Tiger Jaw" cutting parts and is in Iandianola IA. How the @#$@#$@#^&(& I can remember that and not their name is driving me nuttier that I already was. :)

I think you're talking about Herchel Corporation.

They are still in business, but no longer sell parts etc, only some implements. I called them about 6 mos. ago to see if I could get a new heat exchanger for my dyno and that is what I was told.
