Started up the JD BR for the 1st. time this year in preparation for a show, tractor starts great but seems to run a little off and a bit rich, so I'm looking at the idle screws, scratching my head, take her for a scoot down the road and back, ran excellent when I park it last fall, Then I see it, I left the CHOKE half on. Boy, was that a relief. BD.

You should have seen me running around my H when it died yesterday (well I am glad you didnt).
Spent about a 1/2 hr trouble shooting the syptoms only to find out I turned the gas off instead of on when I started her.

Well I absently reached under the tank of my 8n and turned on the little thumbscrew to open the fuel line and fired her up. She ran real good for a bit and then started to stumble. When I investigated I discovered That I had already had the gas on and that I had loosened the screw on the bottom of the sediment bowl that holds it on!(here's your sign,Frank)

Have a similar problem with CRS. Can't recall if it stands for "Can't Remember Stuff" or Can't Remember Sh*t".
