I have just acquired a super a. Hydraulics work fine but just as soon as you stop the engine the lift goes down but picks right back up when engine is restarted. Any ideas or suggestions?

Iwouldsay the "O" rings on the lift pistons need to be replaced. The hardest part of the job is cleaning the old gasket off the cylinder head for the unit. If it was a later model unit (such as a 140) with plastic valves in it, it could get more complicated. Your unit is built to last. Remove the touch contro unit from the tractor and remove the left arms from the front. Renew the "O" rings on the control rods while you are there. They are bad about leaking when they get a little ageIt might not be abad idea to set up a camcorder while you are dismantling it. Talk to yourself while it's running. It usually takes a little shot of air pressure in the filler hole to get the pump primed since the lines run uphill before they get to the pump. Good luck.

I saw your earlier question and wondered if you got your little red devil fixed. I hope you did so you can maybe help me with mine. My pressure holds when I shut it off, however, mine goes through a lot of fluid and doesn't leak enough to justify the rate of consumption. I was hoping you had some experience with this problem also and could answer it. Thanks.
