Is it possible to have constant feed and return hydraulics on my super dexta. I have seen a small McConnel Hedge Cutter that would be perfect for this size tractor but it needs constant feed and return. It is not PTO Operated.

Can this be done?

I believe it can be done by plugging one end into the trailer pipe and the return into the hydraulic filler cap. Loaders are often plumbed in this way on Massey Fergusons at least and i have seen it done in a neater fashion than i have described but i cannot remember the correct outlets in that case. However hedge cutters often require a high oil flow for long periods under load which most tractors including larger ones often struggle with. Either not enough flow available or overheating. i would definitely recommend fitting a PTO hydraulic pump as all hedge cutters i have seen have these even if you salvage one from an old combine etc.
