I need some help identifying a tractor to be sure that I order the correct service manual. It is a 3 cylinder diesel with an exhaust manifold that only has two connections to the engine block, as the first two cylinders seem to share an exhaust inlet. There is a plate near the top of the "firewall" between the engine and battery box that says " Ford Motor Company Manufactured under patents of the principal countries of manufacture" or something like that! No serial can be found, but 9N 543b is found on the right (in reference to the seated operator) hydraulic lift arm. EnFo is stamped in several places, including the fenders and tranmission housing. 1441671 is stamped on the left side fairly high on the engine block. 957E-7005 is cast into the left side of the transmission housing. 957E-7005 is found on the right front steering arm. L3G is cast on the transmission housing right side. The tractor has 3 point hydraulics, PTO, no power steering and seems to be a utility style of tractor. What ever it is, can you suggest a service manual to do a clutch replacement? Engine probably needs some work too, as it is hard to start and has only 200 PSI compression. Any help you can give is appreciated. There is no serial number in any place on the transmission housing, including underneath. There is, as I said before, a 957E-7005 cast into the side of the housing, but no number at all beginning with a "C". The firewall tag I mentioned before does have a British indication on it as well. A friend indicated that this might be a Fordson tractor built in England (maybe a Dexta?) by a division of Ford Motor Company. Any ideas?
