First of all I would like to thank Jerry G. and Ian for helping me with finding the serial #....Thanks Guys....I found it. Now maybe someone can help me date it. The serial # is 1362611 It is a Fordson Major Diesel. Thanks again.

Jerry, yes mine has it. Thanks for the help on the engine size. Looking for ideas on an oil bath air breather, a part #, or what will interchange with it, or any other help that you might have. Thanks Rick

Rick, the I&T Manual lists that as being built in October 1955. It's a 220 c.i. engine at 40 hp. Could you check to see if you have a Timing Access cover on the right side rear of the oil pan (kind of an egg shaped swing away plate with a single bolt securing it)? Mine is a '55 FMD assembled in May, and it doesn't have a timing access hole. I think my oil pan has been replaced with one from a later model.
