I just changed my fuel filter and in trying to bleed the system I messed with what I believe is the fuel adjustment screw on the top of the pump.(Slot screw tightened by 1/2 nut. I thought it was a bleeder.) Tractor will start and run but notice a lack of power when heading up hill.

Thanks for any help,
Woogs

It sounds like you've disturbed the maximum speed adjusting screw by means of which the max no load speed of 2,200 rpm can be set.. Re-setting correctly is a complicated job and I'd advise you to beg steal or borrow a workshop manual manual and work from that. Alternatively, is there no way you can reset the screw to it's original position by going from paint marks on the screw and nut?
