what is wrong with yours, I found a hydraulic company near my house that rebuilt mine...is it physically damaged pretty bad? or is the output low?

Bob -- The pump can be rebuilt. Where do you live. If i can get a rebuild kit i can do it my self. I found a place in Fairfield, Ca called Moore Tractor Co. That has a new pump for $646.51
I think that that is too much -- what do you think

I had both the cylinder and pump rebuilt for 120$!

I am in NE Georgia, the guy told me he bought the parts from an antique tractor place in alabama, I am thinking davids tractors,, I bought my IT book from them,, he also said he had to machine some parts I have no idea what, he also replaced the over pressure valve? the safety valve on the cylinder,,good luck if you want the number let me know I can pass it along, but have to get the card out of my car tomorrow

Jon, I took my pump & lift assembly to local Ford tractor shop who are reliable/through folks. They showed me the pump housing that was scored/worn from contaminated fluid. Previous owner was not maintenance minded and the filter screen became fowled and rusted through in several places. Hence, the contamination and pump wear issue. I had them overhaul the lift assy and pump with new seals/gasketsorings/etc and am hoping to find a filter. You have any suggestions?
