I have a 63 Dexta that I need to lube the front axle pivot. I can not find a grease fitting, does this require disassembly?

There isn't any grease fitting on the pivot pin on the dexta, or on mine anyway. I didn't have one until I had it drilled and put in at the machine shop. I also had the new pin and bushing made there. The best you can do is squirt 90WT on it. I have heard most people say if it doesn't have a grease fitting then don't grease it. Take care.

Capp, I imagine there is not grease fitting as like the three point linkage balls grease would attract dust and accelerate wear.

Just a thought,
Damon
