Here's a laugh. I drove my newly acquired Major home on Saturday and informed the neighbour, a Dexta owner, that we would be over for morning tea next day. Instead we woke to see him driving his Dexta up and down our fence line, like a kid calling out "Come out and play!"

Neighbour parked his Dexta near the fence and left it running as he had to roll start it, and came to look at the Major. Meanwhile, the Dexta ran out of fuel. That was 10:00am

At 11:30 we broke for morning tea after towing the Dexta up the hill and trying to roll start it many times, unsuccessfully. At 12:00 I left Graham (neighbour's name) to do other work.

At last, at around three in the afternoon, Graham bled the fuel lines, made sure fuel was pumping well, and we towed the Dexta to the top of the hill, again. Good old reliable, she/he/it started and ran like a charm.

Both Graham/Graeme learned a lot that day. Do NOT let your diesel Fordson run out of fuel.
