help i am looking at a cookes 2 speed winch to fit on the fordson major but i could use some information on the winch ie parts list, specifications etc thanks in advance for any info

A brake band and brake dog are needed and i hear that John Walsh has parts.

I too have just staterd resotoring a FMD with Cookes winch - mine's already fitted.

I noticed your email on the net regarding stokking parts etc for cookes 2 psd winch etc. I am just about to fit a cookes two spd to a e27n major. I would be interested as to who to contact for parts i.e company, phone No., etc.

Also would you by any chance know the bolt thead sizes to bolt the mounting plate onto the predrilled holes in the majors axle.
