The stick indacates the oil in the rear end. Takes about 9 and a 1/2 gallons of 30w or better yet, universal tractor oil. The filler is behind the seat near the uper lift arms on the right hand side. The trans takes the same oil, the filler is near the clutch pedal on the side of the transmission. This holds 6 gallons and you fill it to the level indicated near the plug.

The older books tell you to use 90w oil but this was changed later. You can use 90w but universal oil is also ok.

Should be ok. I think they changed to 30w on later tractors because 90w was to thick for use with remotes. Trans oil can tend to leak down into rear axle as well, watch for this. You will see level on rear axle rise and trans lower.
