I went and checked Oscar's manual. It shows 90W also.

Ok all,
I dont know squat so that's why I'm here. I have the Ford I & T Manual and the Operator's Manuals and they both tell me to use 30 SAE HD when above 20 deg F. and 20 SAE HD when below 20 deg F. in the Gearbox and the Rear Transmission (this I assume is for the Hyd Lift?).

For the Engine, I am told to 30 SAE HD above 90 deg F.; 20 SAE HD from 20 to 90 deg F.; and 10 SAE HD for below 20 deg F. Since I live in North Texas, 20 to 30 is my target according to these books, but seeing your posts I'm not so sure. My wife and I are about to begin tackling our 1960 Dexta this winter, and I want to be sure I'm using the right stuff.

My first concern is the Engine, as I need to change the oil and filter this weekend so that I can get some work done prior to winter and the teardown/re-build. What oil should I use in the Engine? Do any of you have alternate filter #'s than the Ford # I have (6731)?

I would also be interested in this Oscar reference manual and any others that you have found helpful. Thanks for indulging my simple questions, and I look forward to your responses.
