I'm in the process of restoring a 62 Dexta, and need to replace the oil pressure and water temp sender units. Can anyone advise as to where these can be obtained? Were these senders unique to the Dexta or were they used in other engines, Ford or otherwise.
Thanks,
Peter.

ur in the UK, me too, this is where im gunnu get my water sender for my major from. You send what you've got off and they recondition the gauge, fit a new pipe and sender and send it back to you. they quoted me around £40. They'll do you an oil pressure fitting and pipe aswell.

The company is Speedy Cables
Telephone number 01992581600

Mark, I've also found a firm called Speedograph Richfield, based in Nottingham, U.K., who are in the same line of business. Have a look at www.speedographrichfield.com, I think you'll be impressed.
